Emma Kate and her high heels

Bobby got this great video of Emma Kate walking around in my high heels.  It's a daily occurance when Emma Kate wonders into my closet and takes down all of my shoes from the shelves.  She loves to try on shoes even if they are her Dad's flip flops or running shoes.  She's got it back, I tell you!

Beach Vacation

I know I have MAJORLY neglected the blog over the last 3 months.  We've had so much going on this Summer that I never could find a "free and quiet" time to blog.  Not saying I am totally back to blogging weekly but hey this is a good step.

Why not start the blog up again with pictures from one of my favorite family vacation.  We had a Weilbacher family vaca in Destin in mid-August.  This was the kids first beach trip and they loved every bit of it.  We played on the beach just about every day if the weather was behaving.  We ate WAY TOO MUCH food (ice cream became a major food group) and just spent quality family time together.  Ryan and Emma Kate loved having their cousin Lauren there to play with.

Emma Kate loved taking her naps under the shaded umbrella while we all continued to play on the beach.  She would sleep for hours just like this. . . .

Checking out the alligators - there were lots of them at a restaurant called Fudpuckers!

I took the kids to the marina one afternoon while Bobby was golfing.  We came across the coolest activity for kids . . .check this out!  Ryan is getting blown up into this plastic ball.

Here is about to be pushed into the water.  I might add he was the youngest and smallest kid doing this - surprised?

Fun times!  Kids were getting so tired and Ryan just kept rolling and rolling.

Cheering on Bubba

One of my favorites!

I won't get into the stomach bug that threatened our trip in the beginning and at the end.  But, we were lucky that it didn't stay during our trip to spoil the fun.  We hope to make this trip an annual family trip - too many great memories built to not continue the tradition.  Thank you Tara and Brandon for finding such an awesome place for us to stay - the location was one of my favorite things about the trip!
