18-Month Check Up

Ryan had his 18-month check up today. I am in complete denial my kid is out of the "baby stage". But I have to admit - I love this "toddler stage". He's so much fun!

Here are his latest stats:

Weight: 25lbs -- 50%
Height: 33in -- 75-90%
Head: 19in -- 75-90%

Overall, his physical exam came back normal. No surprise here. We need to continue to encourage Ryan's speech. This is no easy task when he prefers to do anything physical over sitting still and reading a book with his Mom.

At the end of his exam, the nurse stuck the end of his finger to administer a Hemoglobin test. He didn't blink an eye -- he's such a big boy!

All is well with Ryan - so much to be thankful for!
