Frequent Diner Club

I think Ryan can apply for his Frequent Diner Club Card now. He's really gotten used to dining out with his mom and dad over the last month. It's like the loud noises, strangers coming up and touching him (eek!) and bright lights just don't faze him anymore. What a big boy!

Bobby and I have learned the following valuable lessons while dining with our young pup.

#1 Do not place Mommy's glass of wine within arm reach of child. Glass will ultimately be grabbed and drink will spill on child (yes, this did happen and no it was not a full glass)

#2 Bring at least 10 toys for child to play with.

#3 Addition to #2, bring toys that can clip onto highchair or they will ultimately end up on the dirty floor

#4 Don't let child play with paper napkins or paper-covered straws. Paper ends up in child's mouth and he makes gagging noises which completely freaks Mommy out.

#5 Pick a restaurant that has a large crowd of people -OR- has a lot of TV's. Child loves to people watch but more importantly loves to watch television.

Mom can you pull my shirt down. . . I am feeling a little exposed.

So happy!

This is where the dreaded straw incident happen - no more paper covered straws!
