Bobby, Ryan and I went to San Antonio 2 weeks ago for an Engagement Party. Brent, Bobby's youngest brother, got engaged and my mother-in-law threw them a fabulous Engagement Party at their home. After much consideration, we decided to leave Emma at home with Gracie and my mom. I just wasn't ready to tackle a 5 hour car ride and Sea World with a 5-month old baby.
We stayed in a hotel for one night and then stayed with Grandma and Grandpa the rest of our stay. Ryan thought staying at a hotel was so cool. . . in the beginning! The novelty wore off quickly after he found out how small the rooms were (and we were in a SUITE!) and that there was no backyard to play in. Again, we only stayed one night and that was good for all of us!
Here Ryan is jumping on the hotel bed - what fun!
I don't have any pictures from the Engagement Party because quite frankly Bobby and I were too busy chasing Ryan around and making sure he wasn't getting into mischief!
But, I do have plenty of pictures from our Sea World adventures. . .

This picture was taken towards the end of the day - we were all hot and tired! |
Mommy and Daddy rode several kid rides with Ryan. He loved it. |
Waiting for the Shamu Show to start! |
Mommy and Daddy having some fun - I purposely sat in the middle because I heard that was the best seat for those who did not want to get wet. Everyone else on the ride got soaked. HA! |

Check out Ryan's goofy face! |
We also hit up Kiddie Park while we were in San Antonio. Ryan loves this place because all the rides are just his size.
This was a new ride that Ryan has never seen before. As we waited in line, the boys that were in line were all 4 years old or older. Bobby and I weren't sure if Ryan had the arm strength to paddle his way around the track. . . I guess we were wrong! What a strong little cookie!
Ryan is sitting at the front of the bus having a good ole' time with the other kids
Too bad this is my only picture of Ryan and his cousin Lauren. They sure had a good time hanging out in San Antonio together!
Trip was a success! We can't wait to go back at Thanksgiving . . with Emma!
So fun! Looking forward to celebrating the big boy!
