Touch & Trunk & Gattiland!

This past weekend, we took Ryan and Emma to a car show like no other - where kids get to sit in/on, honk the horn and learn about vehicles.  Ryan had a chance to "drive" a fire truck, police car, stretch limo, DART bus, school bus, cement truck, trash truck, postal truck, smart car, sports car, motorcycles AND MORE!

As you can imagine, any 3-year old boy would be in HEAVEN and that was exactly what Ryan was feeling. . . he loved it!

Here he is driving a DART bus. . . hold tight passengers!

FedEx Truck

Cement Truck

Fire Truck - one of his favorites!

Trash Truck - he even got to watch up close the trash being smashed down.

Ryan working a crane. . .

yes, that crane.

Emma thinking, "Oh SH*T, please don't drop that crane on my head"

Police Motorcycle - very cool!

Talking on the police cb radio

Ryan's first time on a school bus - he was more excited to sit in the back than to drive the bus!

Touch A Truck event was a success!  We went home afterwards and all four of us took afternoon naps.  Then, we all headed to Gatti's for a healthy dinner!

Here Ryan is checking to see if he is tall enough to ride the bumper cars - not yet kiddo!

BUT, he was big enough to ride the pirate ship.  This is one of many things that I just love about Ryan.  He loves to try new things.  He stood in line all by himself to ride the pirate ship.  He gave the lady his ticket and chose his seat on the ship.  He moved over in his seat when a girl came on and couldn't find a seat.  She opted to sit a row in front of Ryan but I was so proud to see my son acting like a gentleman already.

Skeet ball!  One of mommy's favorite when she was a little girl.

Yeah!  He can now reach the pedals. . barely!

We ended our fun with our family picture being taken . . .

CRAZY!
