Days like this one where it's just the 4 of us enjoying one another, laughing, playing and just having a fun time on the lake makes my heart burst because I am so lucky to have these 2 little healthy munchkins and wonderful hubby in my life. Blessed doesn't begin to describe it!!
Okay, enough of the sappy stuff. . . (smile) . . .
We took the kids out to the lake last Sunday. It was Emma Kate's 1st trip out on our boat so this was a special time. We spent a good hour getting the boat ready, packing snacks/lunch, getting a change of clothes for the kids and well just packing up the rest of the whole house. . . yep, that's what it takes for us to go anywhere for more than 3 hours.

Come in the water it's warm. . . . um, NOT! This mommy doesn't get in until it's a lot warmer. The boys did fine and loved swimming in the lake.

Emma Kate watched brother take a spin on the tube so of course she was all about doing it too - we went a lot slower and Daddy kept her really close to us.
And. . . . . . she's out!
