Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fun-filled Memorial Day weekend which included listening to live music, spending an afternoon on the lake with friends and hanging out at the pool with family. Ryan loves experiencing new things and this weekend we had plenty to do and see!

On Saturday morning, Ryan helped us put out our American flags.

That evening, we went to Watters Creek in Allen and had dinner and listened to live music. Ryan sat contently in my lap and watched the older kids run around.

Then, he decided to lay down on Mommy's dress. Aw, the life!

Ryan was a little unsure of the horse. I love him ignoring this huge animal!

On Sunday, we took our friends out on our boat (minus Ryan this time). There is a place called "Party Cove" on Lake Lewisville where everyone ties their boats to one another. During holiday weekends, there can be up to a couple hundred boats out there. One can be entertained for hours just watching the people who are out there. I made the comment several times -- either I am getting older or the girls out here are getting younger. I like to think the latter.

On Monday, we were invited to my cousin's house for a birthday celebration. We had a great time swimming in their pool. Ryan's cousins were so sweet by offering him different toys to play with.
