We took a trip to San Antonio in April to celebrate Bobby and Grandma's birthday. This was Emma Kate's first visit to San Antonio - can you believe it?!? We jammed 4 days with fun -- that's why I have to split the trip into 3 different blog entries. We have lots of pictures!
It took about 5 minutes from the time we pulled into their driveway to when Ryan was begging Paw-Paw to take a spin around the neighborhood on his motorcycle. Ryan loves his Paw-Paw's motor bikes. . . surprised?
Emma Kate never took a spin but she sure liked being a part of all the fun - watching the boys go up and down the street. . . over and over and over again.
Even I took my first spin. . .
We spent a morning riding the train to the San Antonio Children's Museum and hopped on it again and rode it to Kiddie Park, one of Ryan's favorite amusement parks.
Here we are on the train. . . Emma's first train ride. Her favorite spot was on Mommy's lap.
The Children's Museum was a blast -- lots do and fun things to explore.
Even Paw-Paw was having a good time.
The Dinosaur exhibit looked a little too "real" for Ryan -- he was a little scared of the moving dinosaurs and the roars. . .
The kids loved digging up dinosaur bones. . .
Off now to Kiddie Park - this is a staple every time we come to San Antonio. The amusement park has been around forever and all the rides are just the perfect size for toddlers. .
Here we are being silly on the carousel ride. .
My boys. . .
Emma Kate wasn't keen on riding rides but she loved to watch.
We had two tired kiddos after all this . . . so much fun!
More to follow . . a day at Morgan's Wonderland and Birthday Party.
