Puddle Walking Turns Dirty!

When I was a kid, I loved to go puddle walking with my sister. After a nice rain, we would splash in the puddles and make mud "pies". I had no doubts that Ryan would thoroughly enjoy playing in the water but I had no idea how messy he would get. Oh my!

Here he is trying to make sense of why there is water on the sidewalk.



Mom, this is fun! Somehow I got a little mud on my face! Mom is thinking this will be a snap to clean up -- maybe use a little wet wipe for his face. And yes, if you're wondering he is holding a fake hamburger patty - random!



Uh Oh! Took a little spill in the mud. Again, mom can get me cleaned up in no time. . .



. . . Not so fast! Now, he has really discovered the mud. He is starting to make his mud pie for mommy! First, he takes the mud and squeezes it through his hands. Notice we still have the patty in hand!



Mom finally tossed the patty aside so he could really get down and dirty.



But I had no idea HOW dirty he would get. . . . Picture below speaks for itself! All fun and games until Ryan felt the need to eat his mud pie.
